The Price of Bouncy Houses!

Hey everyone!

So today is not an instructable post, it's a rant post. About bouncy houses. Yep. Bouncy houses. So I have a soccer party coming up (woot-woot!), and we want a inflatable. So I look up inflatables, thinking of a $150 budget. I thought wrong. Very wrong. Turns out $150 can get you a Disney princess bouncy house. I want an obstacle course. Looks like my budget needs to be raised. Or doubled. Or tripled. You know, just a couple of hundred dollars extra. No biggie. Actually, yes biggie. Big biggie. Big biggie. That's a tongue twister. Big biggie, big big- sorry. Off topic. What was I talking about again? Ah, that's right. The absurdities of inflatables. Anyway, now I've realized there is no way i can get an obstacle course with $150, so I moved on to slides. Nothing below $200, I kid you not. Combos next. $225+. Alright, I think, this must be a really expensive store, so I click on the next link. Same thing. Next link. Same thing. After about 7 links later, I realize people who have inflatables at their parties are a lot richer than I thought. Or maybe I haven't looked at enough companies. Maybe there's one that is really cheap. Hahahahaha! No. When you get to the 3rd page of Google, you're done searching. Here are some of the inflatables I found.  This is only $600! What a bargain! OK, I'll admit, this one is REALLY big, but still.

Sorry, it's really small, but guess how much this is! $275. That's right. $275 for a 1 lane slide with a ladder. Oh, sorry! I forgot. It has the Avengers on the top. That really increases the value.

Here we go! $425 for this wonderful obstacle. But wait, there's more. This is only for a 6 hour rental! And, it tells you that you probably are going to need to rent the $60 generator! So that comes to a total of... Too much.

All right, I'm done. I actually found a couple of ones I might get for above my original price, but not too bad at Parties N Motion and TNJ Bounce Houses.

Well, I'm done. I'm off to go rent an inflatable. Oh, fun! See you later.
