The Reason for No Posts
Ok, so this isn't as bad as when I went over a week without posting, but it has been quite a few days. So the reason is... my bunny died on Tuesday :(. She was a 9-month old Holland Lop named Georgia. I got her this Valentines Day, and her birthday was on Christmas, which was going to be fun celebrating, but now... Anyway she was a good little bun, hated being picked up or petted, but liked being payed attention to. So here's the story.
On Tuesday, my mom and I went to the dentist, and when we came home, we knew a worker was going to be there. He was probably going to bring his dog, some kind of herding dog. I was excited, because I hadn't seen the dog in a while. So anyway, we opened the garage, where Georgia was kept, and Tebow (the dog), smelled her. He somehow got her out of her cage, and started chasing her around. Eventually, my mom got Tebow away. Georgia was lying down between 2 golf bags, completely still, nose not twitching. Now, usually georgia will claw me if I try to pick her up, but she didn't this time. I put her on the ping-pong table, and brushed her, because she was very wet from Tebow's slobber, and had some hair falling out. Tebow never caught her, but we thought he might have bit her. Anyway, I brought her inside, and set her down on a towel with a tunnel. She walked over to the tunnel, and just lied there. I picked her up, and wrapped her in a towel, and occasionally she would lift her head, then put it down. I put her on the towel again, to see it she would walk over to her tunnel again, and she did. I moved it again, and she just lied down on her side. She was half on half off the towel. All of the sudden, she started clawing. I thought she was trying to get off the hardwood, so I moved her all on the towel. Then, she started clawing again. Then she stopped. She stayed like that for a couple of seconds, twitched her nose, and died. I put her in a box which had some bedding and cilantro in it, her favorite treat :). We buried her that night. She was a good bunny.
So that's the story of Georgia. She is very loved.
